Rest Day

Not much training today for Mr. Corey Ray. Got to work at 6AM. Got off at 1 and spent the rest of time running errands before classes tonight. No worries my friends, training will come soon enough.

No shave November? I think so!

I was talking with my friend, Mr. Ryan Milstead, and he was telling me about this Bible verse. So here's a little something to ponder:
"Jesus woke up and spoke to the wind and waves, 'Peace, be still.' And then there was a  great calm. Jesus spoke the Word (Psalm 107:28-30) and the storm had to calm down immediately."
I know that there is a time in everyone's life where you feel like you are going out of control and situation after situation, stress levels rise.  I know I have been stretched thin at times and this was very calming to my spirits. One of my best friends while I was a freshman in college passed away a few weeks ago, Mr. Thomas Johansson. He was one hell of an athlete and had the biggest heart. There is now a Hurricane named after him and I thought that was awesome. His last facebook picture was of him pointing to the sky. I felt like he was symbolising that he had an understanding of how calm and still faith keeps us, yet continues to moves us in a certain direction. Thomas and myself would always talk about training and since we were both injured during our season, we cross trained a lot on the bike. With his intensity, friendship, fellowship and heart, we grew near and became great friends. We always talked about me coming to Sweden or him to the states again. Super awesome.

Lovingly WOLFPACCFIGHTNEVERDIES,
Corey Ray
